From the moment we met sparks flew,  we gazed upon each other with delight , our eyes fully connected upon one another, our fingers touch and our lips collide into an  everlasting passionate interlude of a kiss,  our tongues dance together as our bodies become closer, I can feel the heat of our bodies and the rhythm of our hearts beating. The passion begins to build up with excitement in the air,  like a rollercoaster ride throughout the night. The passion continues until the morning light. We laugh, cuddle, and then spoon. Lately, I've been receiving phone calls from company's that I applied to back in April ? LOL
One phone call from a company where the caller sound desperate, yeah, scared the crap out of me, felt like I was being secretly filmed for American Horror Story Episode called "The Shrieking Employer" The storyline goes as follows..................
Lurking in the darkness, killing employees one by one, then going to the next applicant, making offers so they can't say no, then months later, their time is up and it's time for the kill by Murder or Pink Slip"  LOL

Wow, Happy July 2nd 2018!!

Life is good at times if you avoid watching television, watching the news, and listening to the radio. I keep plenty of cassettes (Yes, your reading correct, if it work why fix it, I'd have an 8 track player in my car if I could, and some cds on stand by.

Lately, I am hooked on Luke Cage Season 2!!
OMG, Talk about being blown away and the villain, OMG, The Bushmastra, I would learn every Jamaican recipe in da cookbook Mon! Happy Bushmaster, Happy Wife.  LOL

I have always enjoyed Reggae music, due to the rhythm, the freeness of spirit, joy, peace and happiness that it brings, it can melt down all your troubles and get you dancing with your hands in the air without a car in the whole.

Officially Homeless

As I tried to find a comfortable position wrapped up in my comforter like a hot dog, I found myself sweating and laying in wait for someone to come along and open up my garage door and find me sleeping inside amongst my cherished belongings..................................

I had tried everyone avenue to find a shelter for myself but continued to come across the same reasoning from every organization, a  prejudice of  a sort in the form of .... "we do not help single females whom are working and childless, sorry and god bless you.
I was shocked time and time again as I seem to hear the same phrase over and over each time. It sadden my heart, but made me wonder, what are the homeless suppose to do, find a short bridge and jump ?   Our society is so busy walking around with their eyes shut that they don't know or see what is happening. The working class, blue collar workers are worked to the bone and some to my recent discovery live in a shelter and receive government assistance of some sort. Yes government  assistance, we work for the government  and receive assistance as a means of survival, What a full circle joke.

As I stand in my own stench of sweat, I brag the bottled water and a towel to wash myself down.  The smell reminds me of a bathroom in a public park and I'm thinking to myself, whatever was I thinking to think I could endure this repeated session for another 20 days until my pay period and then finally would I experience freedom from living in my garage.  If it had a bathroom and shower it would be perfect. Now as I sit with my mind wondering from not getting enough sleep, I find myself confused and exhausted at the same time and its only 11 am!!  I have hours to go before the night mare begins again, but I have to change my thinking to a positive one and do my best to make things different and better so that I can manage this life style for the next couple of weeks. Will I be able to manage, with lots of prayer and determination I think I will.  LOL

Who are we, you ask ?
We are every day people like you, but with a difference of having our dreams shattered and society shuns us as if we are criminals.

We are not losers, lazy ass's, stoners, druggies, living on the system and lastly those you see on the freeway off ramp holding up a card board sign with our hands out begging for money. We do not consider ourselves on vacation, you won't find us watching TV and eating bon bons all day either. We are human beings being discriminated against and fall into a whole new group.

We are homeless, jobless, White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, Mexican illegal aliens with no green cards. We come in all professions as well, we are attorneys, paralegals, young college students, older mature adults.  Older adults that have been cheated out of their retirement, their 401K. Big companies trying to save a dime, make older adults retire early with no retirement or pensions, older adults laid off work due to their jobs being cut or the company they worked for closed down.  Looking for work should be easy you say right, We have all the qualifications that any employer would seek and want on their team right ?  No, older adults are the most discriminated against now a days. Adults 55 and older are shunned against when applying for jobs, we are told we are overqualified, want too much pay, will retire soon and the company doesn't want that burden of having to pay into our retirement, so like a worn out record, we constantly hear the line " Sorry, but your over qualified for this position".

For the college student with dreams of a better future, good luck, any employer with no heart would gladly hire an illegal alien, pay them under the table and their salary would be five to seven bucks an hour at a minimum of fifteen hours a day with no over time or benefits, yeah, welcome to America, the land of the free ride with no jobs for Americans.

Unemployed and need assistance ?  Sorry, unless your an illegal alien and pregnant we can not help you at this time, come back once your knocked up.


Need medical insurance ? Apply for Obamacare, yes, its only hundred and sixty five a month if your unemployed and if your working, guess what, we want you to pay three hundred and fifty dollars a month.

Need a place to live ? Go to your local shelter and and be there by 5 pm, if you arrive later than 5 pm, sorry we can not house you for the night.  Need to rent an apartment since loosing your home or prior apartment due to being laid off or loosing your job ? Sorry, but with no steady pay check and no employer to verify your employment, we can not rent to you.

Many of us are living in shelters, our vehicles, in parks at night, bus stations, train stations just trying to survive.

Society shuns the unemployed, are you one of them ?

How does one stay strong in a weak economy ?
By not shopping and questioning your very existence  ?

Often times I feel invisible. Our government system / network is crazy, telling lies on the news constantly and people dumb enough to believe the lies. Our economy is not getting any better but worse.  I'm still unemployed and looking for work and looking for love, I'm starting to think I'll have a better chance at finding love. LOL

Interview after interview, salary after salary getting smaller and smaller, no wonder there is a huge following and interest in society with Tiny Homes. Because if you don't make much then you can't afford much so why live beyond your means. Makes sense, I don't need a 2500 square footage home, I'd be happy with something small that I can call my very own along with having a garden and the availability to be out in the wild with no neighbors but perhaps a lot of land big enough to have family living near by, yeah like 10 acres away. Remember I did say big lot of land, like 100 acres. LOL

In a perfect world, no one would die, we wouldn't age after reaching a certain age and there would be no hunger, no violence and we as human beings would all get along, but that's another blog for another time.

So how does one manage with maintaining self ? Remembering who you are ?
Do we fight, put up a struggle or just give in and throw away the towel ?
Often I find myself at the job interview wondering, what will I have to give up this time ?
My life as I know it ? I don't do much as it is but do I give up the friendships that I have formed over the years just to be employed ? Do I really want to work 15 hour days 6 days a week and burn in hell since the job requires me to work every Sunday and miss church service ?  Do I want to continue feeling used and abused with nothing to show for it but exhaustion ?

What are you thoughts on this topic, have you ever felt this way or are you currently going through a trial similar to this one ?

Strange People - Rudeness or just Disrespectdful

My most recent tail is from an encounter with this dumb ass fat ugly looking white man.

He looked like he was 9 months pregnant and obliviously didn't care about his appearance to the public.

 

On my way to a job interview I stepped into the elevator and could smell the pizza in the air. After seeing the pizza delivery guy, I said to him jokingly  "Im gonna follow you because you have pizza" he turned and said I'll bring you some if  there is any left over.

 

Of course it being early morning at the time the wheels in my head were not "turning" completely

enough for me to think how would he be able to do that being that he is the delivery guy. So he said he'd give me his number and said, no, let me take your number and I'll call you. Not thinking I said sure, he asked me how long I would be and I said oh just 20 - 30 minutes since it's just a brief interview to reactivate.  I went to my interview and didn't think anything about it.

An hour later I finally get out of interview and thought to myself  "Oh man, I missed out on getting some free pizza".

 

Moving on I ran some errands and headed back to the county that I lived in.

Well about 5 hours later he calls and says sorry I didn't get to call you earlier I was busy with work.

No problem I said.

Well soon after he says "I noticed you have a big butt" I was like what ?

He said I noticed when you walked in the elevator, are you into that ?

That was my que to hang up the phone but I didn't due to being in shock

He continues, are you into that ? I was again What ????

Then the famous line "do you live alone" Me What ???????

Him, I live in my recording studio, would you like a roommate ? Me what ?

Him, so do you want company tonight ? Me What the ????

I told him, I am born again Christian and no one is getting my cookies until our wedding night.

I want a god fearing man. He asked What does that mean ?  Yes another clue for me to hang up

Me, a man who believes in god and goes to church.

Him, well we can still have sex like everyone else is.

I thought to myself and if everyone was jumping off a bridge, would you be inclined to join in ? Geese!!

 

Then he throws in what he must of thought would be the key word to close the deal....

All my past girlfriends have been black and I only date black women.

So he continues on... so when can we get together ? Next week, the week after ?

I finally whispered into the phone "The Twelfth of Never" !

 

OMG, I was in shock for a couple of days, just met the guy and he's already planning on having sex with me, no dinner or nothing and that very evening!

 

I dressed professional for my job interview but for someone to think that I'm just a hoe and not worthy of a meal or "getting to know" basis and just think he's gonna get lucky on the first brief meeting just floored me.

 

Am I alone ?

Are all men walking around with this kind of mentality ? Seriously ?

Where are the real men, the old fashioned type of men that respect women and are fine with waiting until the night of the wedding to make love to their bride ? Are they non-existent ?

 

 

Life Little Glitches

OMG, Where do I begin..........................

It's 2013 and I'm still seeking full time permanent employment.
My family is still and even more dysfunctional then the past years so I'm assuming that the world will be ending soon and that our Lord Jesus will be showing up to claim his people. Gosh, I sure hope so because this unemployment mess is just awful.

Aww, so much tell and not sure where to begin.

Yes for me blogging is like writing in my diary but it's open to the public.
Mmmm, is it wise to be writing your true thoughts and feelings on line ? Oh heck why not, it's not like people can track you down and the picture on your profile is really your picture or not. So many hide behind others photos claiming to be the person in the photo and some are actually not or maybe they were like 20 years ago but you don't find that out until you meet them!  LOL

Another year and another job lay off.
I have to say it's really hard to stay positive and cheerful in these economic times.
My heart is still in Texas where I left it last year.
I hear now that Houston is the place to go to in order to start over.
I liked San Antonio because out of the entire state of Texas, it is said to be the most economical affordable place to live. The cost of living is reasonable along with gas, food and just about everything else.

But for a single woman with her mind set on finding "Mr Right" is that possible in Texas.
Should she give up the idea of finding that God Fearing Man in the Flavor of Latin or just settle
for Chocolate.

Oh I'm just blah blah blan blabbing.

Manners, Oh where have they gone ?

Man oh Man. 2012 started off with big hopes and dreams for me, only for all them to be mashed.
I haven't given up hope yet. I look forward to taking a road trip soon, but since my last employer is now blocking me on my unemployment, looks like my trip will have to be put on hold.

Anyways, it's just another day that I'm above ground and chilling at the library with strangers who are farting, coughing and acting as if their sitting in their own homes.

Man, has society changed so much to where no one has curiosity anymore ?
They cut you off on the freeway when your driving. Flip you off at the stop light just because and it makes me wonder, where do these type of people come from ? Honestly ? Plant Stupid.

I found a T-shirt today and just had to buy it. It has all kinds of sayings for the replacement for "Idiot"
like, "He's a few batteries short of working", "Smarter than fresh bait" or my favorite "he's 2 feet short of a short bridge", etc etc. I was laughing so hard at the 99 cent store that people were starting to think that I might be a little "off".

It's Memorial weekend and all I'm thinking about is grabbing down on a Hebrew National Hot Dog (they are the best, no preservatives or additives folks) some Ruffles potato chips (yes, I gotta have my ridges) and Orange Crush (yes, I'm old school, what can I say).

Life is short, so enjoy it.  As for the weirdos here in the library, I'll just start wearing a gas mask and as for the dummies on the freeway, I may get a sticker made for my car saying "You Never know who your dealing with, I suggest you think Twice before cutting me off" or "My glove compartment is packed with a bullets with you name on it, don't make me use them"  LMAO.

Keeping Your Promises for 2012 ?

Wow, every new year comes and goes and with every year, my goals and wishes end up going down the drain and rolling over into the next year and then the next. My plans for 2012, is making it a point to keep follow through on my goals, whether they be Spiritual, Emotional, Physical, etc. , and not to let them slide away as I did in the previous years.

Funny thing is, I was thinking to myself today, "Wow, I'm really doing well with the follow through on the goals I set for myself this new year." I'm eating healthier, walking more, drinking more water, seeing the inches slide off, but still there seems to be something missing from my life. Suddenly, I realized that I'm the owner of my own destiny and unless I start making a way for things to happen, I'm not moving forward.
So far I've done well working on the goals I have set for 2012. :)

A Day at the Spa !

Well I have to admit, I have never been to a spa before with several pools.
Yeah, I guess some of us are just sheltered from such things, whether it's due to our upbringing, race, etc., but today I took a chance and adventured out.

Today was spent at Desert Hot Springs Spa Hotel. There are 8 pools of Mineral water all varying in temperatures. Talk about relaxing, OMG !! The prices are unbelievable, in today's' economy anyone and everyone should take advantage !

Mon - Thurs the price is only $5 for the entire day, not only do you have the 8 pools to choose from and dip into at your own leisure but the spa hotel also offers a co-ed Sauna (included in price for spa in additional to Massages, pedicures being available at additional costs.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone to try. If you like water, then your love the Desert Hot Springs Spa Hotel.

Ball Scatcher and Sniffer ?

Yep, you read the title correctly.


At my last job this co-worker would scratch and sniff his "privates" all day long.
You ask yourself, how did I notice because I sat next to him. I don't know if he thought it would turn me on or something but if anything I found his habits very disgusting ! He's a grown man (48 y/o) doing this crap and wonders why he can't get a woman ???!! LOL

What makes matters even worse is that he would pick his face and eat the stuff from his face, licking his fingers ! Gross !!!
Even worse, after eating lunch, he would lift up his shirt and rub his (looked like he was carring a 7 month baby) gut !


Did he think it was attractive ? Or that women get turned on by a guy who scratches his balls in front of them without so much as using any type of precaution or resistance. What I found even more amazing is that he one day lifted up his shirt, unzipped his fly and began scratching himself right there in the lunch room. Needless to say I just walked away from him shaking my head.


Yes, this guy is single and he's wondering why ? LOL

Friends or Foe ?

Ok, I was recently laid off work once again and guess what ? All my friends have once again vanished! WTF is up with this kind of treatment. Is it because they feel bad for me and don't know what to say or have words of encouragement ?

It strikes me as weird because those who know me, know regardless of your situtation, I am there 24/7 and will assist any way I possibility can, whether it's a temp place to stay or financially.

I just don't get people anymore, can you feel me out there ?

For Love or Money ?

Hey Gang !

I have a dilemma. I have co-worker who is Always talking about her husband. They are still newlyweds since getting in March of 2011.

The thing is, do you get married because you love someone or because your afraid your going to hell if you have sex with them without marriage ?


The co-worker is the sole provider. She married a man who has no job, no car and no drivers license. He is a constant thorn in my side because every day she comes to work and bitches about him. I finally said to her "You knew what you were getting into before you go married".
She just sits and agrees.

So tell me, would you marry for love or out of fear of going to hell or loneliness ?
She is by the way older than him too, which for me is not a problem, but I'm starting to think she married a 19 y/o ! LOL
I'm not sure how many years difference is between them but it sounds like the husband is thinking she is his personal sugar mama !

He made fun of her after church a couple of weeks ago when it came out that she felt like everything was coming down on her shoulders and it was a burden with him in the picture. He joked with her about it.

I know one thing, I will Never be so lonely or live in fear of going to hell because I may or may not want to get "physical" with my mate. I know one things for sure, Once I met Mr. Right and he happens to ask for my hand in marriage, I will marry for love and nothing else. But mind you, my Mr. Right is gonna have his act together aka JOB, Car & Drivers license ! LOL

I have the neighbor from Hell !
When does there come a time when you just say No More ?

My neighbor who is Deaf & Mute has a bad habit of thinking that I am her personal AAA Battery Jumper. She doesn't care what time it is or if she's interrupting my day or anything.
The first two times, I helped her and went out and assisted her. But I stopped the day she came knocking on my door at 4:30 AM !

She knocked for a good 30 minutes ! I was out cold since I suffer from insomnia and didn't go to bed until 3 am that morning. I did not get out of bed for by the time I heard the knocking at the door I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or having a nightmare, since she knocks as if she were the Police Dept.

OK, so I'm thinking I'm in the clear from the neighbor but no, last weekend, it starts up again !
She sent her daughter and had her knock on my door for a good hour.
Did I answer the door ? Nope ! She finally gave up and went to bug the Apartment Manager.
The following day, the neighbor had the balls to glare at me and give me dirty looks !

Currently, I'm thinking of moving. From what I have heard, she has done the same to other past neighbors, but mind you the surrounding other neighbors she doesn't bother, just the ones who live above her. :(


So tell me, when is enough enough ?
